Cross Country Ski Trails
Take advantage of our groomed cross country ski trails. They have different skill levels for everyone. They are located at the Conner of Fairveiw and Clear Lake Road. This is a EXCELLENT trial system.
Monday Night Dart's
Every Monday night drop is darts. Everyone is welcome to play, from beginner to experienced. It's pretty laid back with some grudge matchs afterwards.
Fishing Report
On Clear Lake they are catching a few walleyes and we have been told of some of the hybrid bluegills have been caught. St. Helen is about the same. they are catching pike, walleye, and pan fish. Higgins Lake perch fishing took off they have good ice . On Houghton Lake fishing is going good, with some good size pan fish, pike, and walleye being taken.
Fish Fund
We have started a new fish fund and have over $1100.00 so far. Last year we were able to stock Clear Lake with 1600 Bluegills, 2 to 4 inches and 4-6 inches. The hybrids can double in size in one year and can grow up to 15-16 inches long and up to 2-3 pounds. It cost about 95 cents each to stock. About 5 percent of the bluegills will reproduce. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
Raffle
We have a signed Kris Draper Red Wing Jersey that we are raffling off for Special Olympics and the fish fund, $1 each or 6 for $5.
